We’ve all seen Drew Barrymore’s kooky side on her hit daytime talk show, but we can’t forger that the successful host was an established actress long before she was feeling Katherine Hahn’s bare legs at 9 a.m. While she’s been building an impressive IMDb since the ’80s, one of Barrymore’s more recent roles is among her best: playing a suburban mom with a taste for blood in Netflix’s canceled-too-soon sitcom, Santa Clarita Diet. Barrymore stars as a real estate agent who shocks her family when she essentially turns into a zombie. It’s a horror comedy with a sweet family side, and it’s not one to miss.
