There’s only one thing a Gin Guy wants for Father’s Day, according to Ryan Reynolds: A “Vasectomy.”
The Aviation Gin founder released a new ad for his spirits company on Thursday, June 9, starring fellow Hollywood dad Nick Cannon, who currently has eight children, with a ninth on the way.
In the spot, Cannon shares the recipe for “the mother of all cocktails”—the “Vasectomy.”
“Lord knows I need one,” says Cannon.

Cannon shared the video to Instagram and tagged Reynolds in the caption, writing “Yeah…thanks a bunch.” Reynolds replied to Cannon in the comments section, expressing solidarity: “I’m making mine a double.”
Reynolds and his wife, Blake Lively, share three daughters together: James, 7, Inez, 5, and Betty, 2. The actor is notoriously candid about fatherhood, and is the first to tease himself about parenting.
When asked in March about his brief break from acting, which he said was necessary in order to spend more time with his family, he joked, “It’s been hell, I’m going right back. I’m taking the first movie I can find.”
“No, it’s been great,” he added, referring to time with the daughters. “I’m still busy but I get to be there for my kids in the morning and at night I get to put everyone to bed, so I love that.”
Sharing the ad to his own Instagram account, Ryan Reynolds conceded that the cocktail is “not 100% effective,” which, duh. But what does it mean for the future of the Reynolds family? Personally, I’m choosing to believe there’s still a chance of another baby in Blake and Ryan’s future. Who wouldn’t want more of these curls?!
