Ryan Reynolds doesn’t want anyone talking to his wife Blake Lively without a shirt on, especially soccer (er, football) star Ollie Palmer.
Reynolds, co-owner of Wrexham’s Football Club, appeared on the Fearless in Devotion podcast on Tuesday, where he opened up about his time with the team. “Every time we’ve come as a family and stuff, we’ll walk down to the locker room, and Ollie’s the first guy that walks out of that dressing room completely shirtless to have a conversation with my wife,” Reynolds said of the team’s striker.
“I’m always like, ‘Ollie, put a fucking shirt on and come back out like a gentleman,’” he jokingly recalled.
The 46-year-old purchased the Wrexham football club in 2020 with fellow actor Rob McElhenney, quickly propelling the Welsh team back into the English Football League after a 15-year absence. The two play a key role in the team’s development, and Reynolds is personal friends with Palmer, even if the player refuses to wear a shirt around Lively.
