It’s bittersweet to think about the Eras Tour ending for now and we’re getting close to the end of ranking the singles from each Taylor Swift album.

Regardless, we aren’t done yet and this is going to be an ongoing series. Taylor Swift is going to continue to release music even after her re-recordings are done. Ultimately, this was a fun project to do while being jealous of every single person who was able to attend the Eras Tour.

With that being said, let’s get into the next Taylor Swift album and that’s Evermore. This is Swift’s 9th studio album and was the sister album to Folklore. Unlike her previous works, these two are interconnected and as I mentioned during my Folklore ranking, this was a turning point for Swift and her sound.

If anything, it felt like Folklore and Evermore catered to an entirely different audience and the songwriting on these albums is just unmatched. As for singles, the album ended up having 3 singles which were “Willow,” No Body No Crime,” and “Coney Island,” so let’s break it down.

Coming in at #3 from Evermore is “Coney Island.”

3. “Coney Island” (Featuring The National)

I feel like I’m a broken record, but most of the time, I prefer Taylor Swift on her own. When coming up with this ranking, Miss Swift decided to torment me by making two collaborations singles. Between the two, “Coney Island” is the weaker so it ended up being #3 on my list and I’m not even saying it’s a bad one.

While I love the sound of “Coney Island,” it just doesn’t seem like single material in comparison to others on the album. Like I said, the lyrics for it are beautiful and it makes me feel melancholy every time I listen. I’d just like to know who decided “Coney Island” should be a single from this album.
