After months of preparing and re-listening to Taylor Swift, we’re finally at Lover. This is officially the first album owned by Taylor Swift.

Thank goodness because I feel like these are some of her best music videos. I don’t know if I’ve shared before but I really do have a soft spot for Lover. It was an album I wrote off at first but over the years, I’ve come to really love and appreciate it.

There is something so sparkly and fun about this album. Plus Lover being the title of the album is just everything. Even though we know how things worked out for Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn now, this album is full of so many amazing songs and I’m happy to revisit it again and again because I just love this album with my whole heart.

Lover is Taylor Swift’s 7th album and it was released on August 23rd, 2019. Of course, that would result in so much more than any of us realized at the time. Due to that, I waited a bit before including Lover as it ended up getting another single which is what we’re talking about next.

The album spawned 5 singles with the latest being named in June 2023 so there’s a reason why I waited until July to feature Lover. Either way, this album holds such a special place in Taylor’s catalog and a lot of fans’ hearts as it was the first album Taylor Swift owned after the mess at Big Machine so let’s get into my rankings for the 5 singles from Lover.
