Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna’s Animal Teaser Takes Over Times Square Billboard; Watch

Ranbir Kapoor is gearing up for his next film Animal with Rashmika Mandanna. The teaser has been released and it has only increased the excitement level among fans. Well, today on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra, the teaser of Animal has been featured on Times Square Billboard. T series also shared the video on its official Instagram handle.

The teaser was released on the occasion of Ranbir Kapoor’s birthday. The actor headlines the film, marking his first collaboration with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol. Animal marks Ranbir’s second release of the year, after Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, and Sandeep’s second Bollywood film after Kabir Singh. An intense Ranbir Kapoor leads the show, playing a man who is emotionally and physically abused by his father but doesn’t hold it against it. Instead, he defends him and even seeks for his validation. The teaser goes on to show that Ranbir’s character grows up to become a gangster and he is facing ‘Lord’ Bobby Deol (as mentioned on the film’s Wikipedia page).

Animal is set to release on December 1. The film was originally slated to release in August. It was set to clash with Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2, Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2 and Rajinikanth’s Jailer. However, the director chose to delay the film to December because the post production of the film was incomplete.

The first song titled Hua Main, which has created quite a stir for Ranbir and Rashmika’s liplocks, has released already. While all of these have skyrocketed the anticipation surrounding the film, it looks like there’s still some time before we get to watch the much-awaited trailer.

News18 Showsha has exclusively learned that the makers of Animal are planning on launching the trailer just days before the film’s release on December 1. However, another song from the film might be released before the trailer is launched. A source tells us, “The trailer of Animal will be unveiled on November 23, about a week before the film hits the big screen. The makers want to make use of the next few weeks to build some intrigue and excitement surrounding the Ranbir Kapoor starrer. The trailer promises to be a hard-hitting and intense one which will definitely leave fans surprised. They’re in for a treat.”
