Once again joined by one of my favorite guests, Suzana Somers, who is the creator of @BachelorData on IG. She’s also started to build the @PopCultureData account on IG as well, focusing on other shows like Love is Blind, Selling Sunset, etc. A good talk with her regarding the popularity of Love is Blind and how Netflix knows how to push their shows on social media, much moreso than the Bachelor franchise does. How their contestants are gaining many more followers than anyone in Bachelor Nation and at a rapid pace, where the Bachelor shows are going wrong, and how Netflix really isn’t competing against the Bachelor anymore. It’s biggest competition is TikTok now. So many great topics to go over with Suzana, including a great personal story from her regarding the TV show “Breaking Bad” that happened recently with her.
