The wedding ceremony will be held in traditional Punjabi style with many big names from Bollywood and politics in attendance. The wedding festivities began on Saturday, September 23 with much fervour and the bride is leaving no stone unturned to ensure they have a good time. As per the latest reports, Parineeti personally selected the menu for the wedding with Indian, international and health food options.
According to Bollywood Life, Parineeti handpicked the menu along with her brothers Shivang and Sahaj. Their source mentioned that the actress has decided on the menu, keeping in mind the needs of all her guests. As such, the menu will have several options from Punjabi, Rajasthani and international cuisines.
The source mentioned that Parineeti has been personally involved in the preparation of the wedding, looking after all the smallest details. For the older guests, a healthier menu has been curated keeping in mind all their dietary needs.
Meanwhile, the guests have begun arriving at the venue on Saturday. They have been taken by special ferries and boats to The Leela Palace Hotel for a “Blooms and bites” themed brunch before the party starts.
Fans are now eagerly awaiting the arrival of Parineeti’s cousin and global superstar Priyanka Chopra. Earlier it was reported that the actress is all set to arrive in Udaipur from the US on the wedding day. However, a recent report by Filmfare claimed that the actress may skip the wedding.
Priyanka’s latest Instagram posts hinted that she may still be in the US. She recently shared a video of herself with her daughter Malti enjoying at her Franklin Jonas’ farmhouse. However, it is unlikely that she will miss Parineeti’s big day, considering their close-knit bond. Priyanka had also attended the engagement in Delhi in May amid Citadel promotions.
