Blizzard Entertainment has announced its first-ever musical collaboration for its free-to-play game Overwatch 2, and it’s with the K-pop group LE SSERAFIM.
LE SSERAFIM is a fairly new K-pop group. Originally formed in 2022, the group has since gained a massive following with over 8 million monthly listeners on Spotify and 3.9 million subscribers on YouTube. LE SSERAFIM’s upcoming song “Perfect Night” was made in collaboration with Overwatch 2, and it’ll debut on October 26 at 9 PM PDT.
In addition to the upcoming song, this partnership will also introduce a “LE SSERAFIM-inspired custom game mode” and an exclusive hero skin that’ll be revealed later this month on October 30 and be available for players on November 1.
“We’re extremely excited to be working with LE SSERAFIM for our game’s first musical artist collaboration,” says Walter Kong, General Manager for Overwatch. “Like the heroes of Overwatch, the LE SSERAFIM members are amazing as individuals, but unstoppable when they come together.”
On top of all of that, LE SSERAFIM will be making an appearance at BlizzCon on November 4 for a special performance that’ll include their new single, Perfect Night. It’s also worth noting that this isn’t the first crossover for Overwatch 2. Earlier this year, the studio partnered with One-Punch Man to introduce skins inspired by the anime to the game.
