The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences has announced the nominees for the 50th annual Daytime Emmy Awards, with ABC’s General Hospital leading the nominations with a total of 19.
CBS’s The Bold and the Beautiful followed with 14 nods, while CBS’s The Young and the Restless received 13 and NBC/Peacock’s Days of Our Lives earned 11. All four shows were nominated for best daytime drama series along with Popstar! TV’s The Bay.
The Kelly Clarkson Show led the nominees in the talk show categories with a total of 11. Clarkson was nominated for best daytime talk series host alongside Drew Barrymore (The Drew Barrymore Show, which picked up seven nods), Tamron Hall (for the four-time-nominated eponymous show), Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest (for Live with Kelly and Ryan, which saw Seacrest step down from co-hosting duties this month) and Sherri Shepherd (for Sherri, which earned four noms).
Across the broadcast networks, CBS garnered the most nominations with 29, while ABC followed close behind with 26. Netflix tied CBS, leading the streaming nods — while Peacock had an impressive showing with 14 noms.

Our golden anniversary celebrates the talented creators who have made the last 50 years of Daytime Television so unforgettable,” said NATAS President & CEO Adam Sharp in a statement. “Partnering with CBS for another two years, we look forward to a very special 50th Daytime Emmy Awards this June.”
The June 16 telecast will mark the 17th time CBS has broadcast the Daytime Emmys, more than any other network. The Daytime Creative Arts and Lifestyle Emmy ceremony will stream live at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT on June 17 at Watch.TheEmmys.TV and via The Emmys apps for iOS, tvOS, Android, FireTV and Roku. Both ceremonies will take place at the Westin Bonaventure in Los Angeles.
