Love is in the air!
Season 2 of Netflix’s Heartstopper is right around the corner, and the streamer released a trailer on Tuesday to hold fans over until the August 3 release date.
In the trailer, Nick (Kit Connor) is ready to tell the world he finally has a boyfriend, but he’s nervous about finding the right time to come out. Charlie (Joe Locke) isn’t in any rush, telling Nick that he should come out when and how he wants to.
Meanwhile, Tao (William Gao) and Elle (Yasmin Finney) are trying to work out if they can ever be more than just friends. Tara (Corinna Brown) and Darcy (Kizzy Edgell) are also facing challenges of their own.
With exams on the horizon, a school trip to Paris and a prom to plan, the gang has a lot to juggle as they journey through the next stages of life, love and friendship.

Produced out of the UK, the show’s Season 1 was a runaway success for Netflix and has already been commissioned for two more seasons. The coming-of-age romantic comedy drama follows Charlie and Nick, who meet at secondary school and quickly discover that their unlikely friendship is blossoming into an unexpected romance.
In addition to the teen cast, Stephen Fry and Olivia Colman are also returning for Season 2. Creator Alice Oseman returns for Seasons 2 and 3 and See-Saw Films is producer.
