With Honkai: Star Rail being one of Hoyoverse’s largest successes so far, it should come as no one’s surprise that with a drop comes a flood of leaks. Within a matter of days, the community would reveal the lineup of characters for the next few banners and a few more days later would drop around 30 characters that were eluded to being playable later.
Because these leaks are still unreliable and with Hoyoverse in the know, they are surely bound to change so, for once, I’ll refrain from talking about all of the characters that came spilling out from the woodworks of Honkai: Star Rail. But, we did get a bit more information about a completely new character as well as confirmation for another that I’ve been looking forward to ever since spotting them amongst the many that were released a month ago.
Huo Huo of Honkai: Star Rail
This adorable little vision is Huo Huo, a young girl who strongly resembles Sucrose from Genshin Impact. Because she hasn’t been revealed in the story as of yet, there isn’t a lot that we know about her aside from what we can garner from her art. Probably belonging to the Luofu, Huo Huo is surrounded by little paper spirits that are often used in exorcising or summoning. So we can assume that perhaps she has some sort of spiritual affiliation.
When it comes to what we can look forward to in terms of build, Huo Huo is going to be a Five-Star Wind Pathfinder of Abundance. So this shy little sprite is going to be a healer! Which may be an interesting and funny animation if she’s going to be healing us with the power of spirits or ghosts.
Argenti of Honkai: Star Rail
This character actually came out of nowhere and I don’t think anyone is certain as to which gender they are. What we do know is that they are a knightly presence and somehow… that doesn’t answer any questions as to where they belong! Belabog does have their guardians, but they don’t quite wear armor in quite the way that Argenti is wearing their armor. It’s not depicted to have any ice or crystals attached to them. They could be part of the Xianzhou, but once again, their aesthetics don’t quite match what we’ve seen from characters that hail from the ship so far.
Argenti just may be a character who is lined up to appear randomly or in a new world that we will be exploring. As for their build, Argenti will have the Physical Element and be a Pathfinder of Erudition. It’ll be exciting to see what type of fighting style they bring to the lineup since Erudition characters excel at follow-up attacks and additional attacks, so perhaps they’ll do a type of parry or counter when it comes to being attacked.

These characters haven’t even been hinted at in the game, so I would take any speculation on my part with a grain of salt. Leaks are wishy-washy because they are subject to change, but it does cause excitement when they are revealed since it gives you a sense of what to look forward to in Honkai: Star Rail.
