As opposed to other Disney celebrations like The Year of a Million Dreams or Limited Time Magic, Disney100 was truly a company-wide affair.
For example, as part of the Disney100 fun, Marvel Comics released variant covers of some of the most iconic comic book covers in history. Instead of featuring Captain America, Iron Man, or Spider-Man, however, these covers were reimagined to feature classic Disney characters!

Disney has released a line of shirts featuring the variant covers, and they are available now at Walt Disney World! Let’s take a closer look.
Disney100 Avengers Shirt
First up, we have this red Disney100 Avengers shirt.
The front of the shirt features the iconic first Avengers issue reimagined with Mickey and friends!
Here, Goofy wears Iron Man’s armor, Mickey is Captain America, Minnie plays The Wasp, Donald gets to be Thor, and Pluto fills in for Ant-Man!
If you look closely, you can see that the original cover is faded behind the new Disney100 variant. What a great look!
Mickey Iron Man Shirt
The next Marvel Disney100 shirt asks, “What If… Mickey was the Invincible Iron Man?”
This shirt recreates one of Iron Man’s iconic covers, with Mickey posing as the titular hero.
Based on the art, you can tell that this shirt is based on a later comic. Mickey looks great!
Mickey Spider-Man Shirt
If you like the idea of a Mickey Marvel shirt, but always envisioned the mouse as a different hero, have no fear.
Disney is also selling a shirt that speculates what would happen if Mickey Mouse was bitten by a radioactive spider.
Here Mickey assumes the role of Spider-Man, joyfully swinging high above town.
This shirt not only features a recreation of The Amazing Spider-Man cover, but it also features a pattern of Disney100 logos!
Marvel Disney100 Covers Shirt
Last but not least, we have a shirt that brings all of the Marvel Disney100 covers together.
The front of this black tee has a pocket that simply has the Marvel Disney100 logo on it.
The back of the shirt, however, features the entire Disney100 Marvel collection.
In addition to some of the covers featured on other shirts, you have reimagined versions of The Fantastic Four, X-Men, and even a Secret Wars variant.
