There is an abundance of classic Julia Roberts performances, and My Best Friend’s Wedding is just one excellent example of the rom-com queen’s always-charming work. Roberts stars in the 1997 release as Julianne, a woman who realizes she’s been in love with her best friend Michael (Dermot Mulroney) for years, and is only just now ready to admit it to herself. Unfortunately for Julianne, Michael is set to wed Kimberly (Cameron Diaz) … unless Julianne can stop him and walk down the aisle herself. My Best Friend‘s wedding is the perfect chaser to Pretty Woman, and while we’re at it, we recommend you follow it up with a screening of Runaway Bride for a true Roberts ’90s trifecta.
