MTV Movie & TV Awards 2022: The Complete Winners List

The MTV Movie & TV Awards are back, with Vanessa Hudgens hosting the ceremony live on MTV.

The awards celebrate the year’s best in film and TV, with honors ranging from Best Show to Best Kiss. Awards will be doled out for both scripted and reality TV, with unscripted nominees including “American Idol,” “The Masked Singer,” “Dr. Pimple Popper” and “The D’Amelio Show.”

Jennifer Lopez is set to receive the Generation Award, while Jack Black will take home the Comedic Genius Award.

The MTV Movie & TV Awards tend to skew toward fan-favorites, with Best Movie nominations “Dune,” “Scream,” “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,” “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” “The Adam Project” and “The Batman.” “Squid Game,” “Euphoria,” “Ted Lasso,” “Inventing Anna,” “Loki” and “Yellowstone” are competing for Best Show.

Daniel Craig (“No Time to Die”), Oscar Isaac (“Moon Knight”), Scarlett Johansson (“Black Widow”), Simu Liu (“Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings”) and Tom Holland (“Spider-Man: No Way Home”) are up for Best Hero, while Colin Farrell (“The Batman”), Daniel Radcliffe (“The Lost City”), James Jude Courtney (“Halloween Kills”), Victoria Pedretti (“You”) and Willem Dafoe (“Spider-Man: No Way Home”) are facing off for Best Villain.
