It’s a great time to be a fan of sketch comedy. Saturday Night Live returns later this month; all six seasons of the legendary Canadian sketch series SCTV are now on Netflix; and you can rewatch classic sketch shows like Key & Peele, The State, Chappelle’s Show, and Kroll Show on Paramount+. We have an abundance of options, but we’ve recently revisited one of the greats: Mr. Show. Currently streaming on HBO Max, this cult ’90s classic from the minds of Bob Odenkirk and David Cross is a revelatory comedy staple that’s filled with classic sketches and trenchant performances from a host of comedy icons.
