Motorheads’ Adds Drake Rodger, Johnna Dias-Watson, Josh Macqueen & Mia Healey – Deadline

EXCLUSIVE: Drake Rodger (The Winchesters), Johnna Dias-Watson (Wednesday), Josh Macqueen (Significant Others) and Mia Healey (The Wilds) are set as recurring guest stars of the Prime Video series Motorheads from writer/showrunner John A. Norris.

Rodger has been cast as Ray, Curtis’ charismatic (Uriah Shelton) brother who seems like a good guy but isn’t afraid to be on the wrong side of the law. He has a scary side that isn’t seen often, but when it is, it’s chilling. Dias-Watson has been cast as Kiara, the daughter of the town’s mayor who is torn between the popular crowd and her new friends. Macqueen has been cast as Harris, the entitled, popular high school alpha dog whose powerful family owns most of the businesses in Ironwood. He’s the formidable champion of the local street racing scene. Healey has been cast as Alicia, the daughter of a tech company founder who finds herself entangled in the shifting dynamics of the old town and the allure of what’s new.

Earlier today, Deadline exclusively revealed Uriah Shelton joined as a series regular opposite Ryan Phillippe, Nathalie Kelley, Michael Cimino and Melissa Collazo.

Motorheads is about first love, first heartbreak, and turning the key in your very first car. Set in a once-thriving rust-belt town that’s now searching for a glimmer of hope, the series is the adrenaline-filled story of a group of outsiders who form an unlikely friendship over a mutual love of automobiles. And while some characters will be navigating the hierarchy and rules of high school, others will be racing from a dark past.

Norris executive produces alongside Jason Seagraves, Jake Fuller on behalf of Jax Media, Dana Brunetti and Keegan Rosenberger. Ruben Fleischer is attached to direct the pilot and Ryan Zaragoza will serve as co-executive producer. Jax Media and Amazon MGM Studios produce the series.

Rodger is repped by Gersh and Impact Artists Group; Dias-Watson is represented by United Agents, Authentic and Green Management; Macqueen is repped by Anonymous Content, RGM and GGSSC; Healey is represented by CBM Management in Australia and with AFA Prime Talent in Los Angeles.
