A mother is left horrified as her son goes viral for having sex in plane toilet with a woman ‘he’d only just met at the airport’ on a flight to Ibiza.
Piers Sawyer, who was celebrating his 23rd birthday, and an unnamed woman were caught in the act by cabin crew member who opened the door to expose the duo.
The pair were met with applause and cheers of ‘top girl’ as they wandered shamelessly back to their seats.
Now, his mother has told The Sun she was shocked as the ’embarrassing’ footage of her son was shared by pals and even discussed on ITV‘s Loose Women.
She said that although it is ‘not something a mum wants to see’, she doesn’t think the pair ‘were doing anyone any harm’ and claims the steward ‘shouldn’t have just opened the door’.

Piers took a ‘party plane’ to Ibiza with his friends last Friday to celebrate his 23rd birthday, his mother has revealed.
She told The Sun that the ‘single lad’ and his friends ‘were all just having a good time in the airport’ when he met the woman he would later join the so-called Mile High Club with.
‘You’re aware these things are going to happen at the holiday destination but you don’t expect it to happen on the flight,’ she told the newspaper.
‘You just don’t think about stuff sometimes. Yes it’s embarrassing but I don’t think they were doing anyone any harm.’
She says her son ‘doesn’t want to talk’ about the incident and suspects that he ‘probably just wants to forget it’.
Footage recorded on the flight showed passengers whooping and screaming with delight when the cabin crew member opened the door to expose Piers and the woman having sex.
The video taken on the flight from Luton appears to show the duo were in no mood to stop early, with the man promptly shutting the door again so they could continue.
A second clip sees them waving their arms defiantly with no hint of blushing as they walk down the aisle of the plane to their seats, while thrilled passengers cheered them on.
An EasyJet spokesperson told MailOnline the flight was met by police when it landed on the Spanish party island and the duo were led away.
Those in the rear seats who watched the situation unfold appeared to find what was happening hilarious and could be seen watching opened mouthed. One woman was heard screaming ‘Oh my f***ing God’, before asking her friend if she had videoed what happened.
But the cabin crew member seemed unsure how to respond and could be seen in the clip holding his head in the hands after catching the couple in the act.
The video has been shared widely on social media, with one user joking: ‘Ryanair would charge extra.’ Another added: ‘Hope that wasn’t the pilot.’

An easyJet spokeswoman told MailOnline: ‘We can confirm that this flight from Luton to Ibiza on September 8 was met by police on arrival due to the behaviour of two passengers onboard.’
The identity of the couple is not known and it has also not been confirmed whether any arrests were made in Ibiza.
Bedfordshire Police, which is responsible for policing at Luton Airport, confirmed to MailOnline that it was not involved in the response.
Section 71 of the Sexual Offences Act 2004 states that it is illegal to have sex in a lavatory to which the public has access.
