The Mortal Kombat 2 cast is steadily growing. After finding its Johnny Cage, it seems as though the Mortal Kombat 2 Jade actor is in the final rounds of negotiation.
The Mortal Kombat 2 cast may have found its Jade
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tati Gabrielle is in final talks to play Jade, the green assassin that has been in the series, fittingly, since Mortal Kombat II. Kitana is reportedly going to be in the film, too, which makes sense if Jade is going to be included since Jade is her bodyguard. Kitana’s fan was also in the background of the 2021 film.
Gabrielle was recently in Uncharted, another video game movie, as Jo Braddock. She’s also known for her role as Marienne Bellamy in Netflix’s You.
This is the second alleged casting choice regarding Mortal Kombat 2, as Karl Urban seems to have been cast as Johnny Cage. While other actors haven’t been named yet, Moon Knight writer Jeremy Slate is writing the sequel, and Simon McQuoid is returning to the director’s chair.
