Per Page Six, Trainor was recently a guest on Emily Ratajkowski’s High Low With EmRata podcast. In the episode that dropped on Tuesday, May 2, Trainor said, “I’ve been talking about how tight I am and my husband is so very big.”
“I thought that was our problem,” she continued. However, the 29-year-old revealed she learned that her issues with sex—which she described as feeling like she’s “being tortured”—are “mostly mental.”
Trainor, who discussed her vaginismus diagnosis on her own podcast last week, talked to Ratajkowski about it too. The Cleveland Clinic defines vaginismus as “an involuntary tensing of the vagina,” which people can experience at the beginning of sex, making intercourse painful.
“I have to go to physical therapy soon…and put gages and rings up in me and stretch,” Meghan Trainor said. “It’s a whole thing I don’t want to worry about.” She also told Ratajkowski that, given the pain, she and Sabara are not having sex during her pregnancy (she is currently expecting baby number two). “I can have a fine time with other stuff,” she said. “I’m very satisfied. My hubby, I take care of him. He’s fine. He’s satisfied. We’re great, but it’s tough.”
