What better way to celebrate Taylor Swift than to watch the film that might have inspired her new album? Megamind tells the story of the title character (voiced by Will Ferrell), a blue-skinned, bald, and goateed super-villain who has been in an on-going feud with Metro Man, a cleft-chinned, handsome superhero (voiced by Brad Pitt). When Metro Man dies during one of their fights for Metro City, Megamind finds that he has no purpose and sets out to create a new hero to fight, all while beginning a secret relationship with news reporter Roxanne Ritchi (Tina Fey) who does not know his real identity. If you’re still trying to figure out what your costume should be for Halloween, any character in this film will work. Plus, Megamind is due for rewatch anyway, as Peacock is currently developing a television series based on the character.
