Meet the cast and possible victims of Netflix’s ‘You’ Season 4

Hello, You. Welcome to the party. We last left Joe Goldberg (Penn Bagdley) in quite a bit of a mess, having murdered his wife, and given his baby away to his neighbors, to end up faking his own death. You would think this would upset him, but no. It’s Joe. Joe ends up running away to Paris in pursuit of his old flame, the librarian from season 3 Marienne Bellamy (Tati Gabrielle). In the finale she discovered the truth about him.

It looks like in You season 4, Joe has got a lot of new friends to play with, and on a new turf. London. This time, with a new persona, a college professor named Jonathan Moore, a teacher of the elite, social class. This season Joe is on a mission to find his true love, while juggling high society and scandals at the same time. “The whole You team is excited to explore new, dark facets of love in season 4.” says show creator Sera Gamble.

What’s this season about?

What’s great about this season is that it plays out as one big murder mystery, split into 2 parts. The popular thriller is known for surprising fans and keeping them on edge, and this season we find out that not only will Joe be doing some stalking himself as always, but Joe himself is being stalked, oh how the tables have turned. “The tone is similar but it’s shifting in that there is a different format…It’s almost like we’re shifting the genre slightly. And I think it works.” said Penn Bagdley in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. As we’ve seen before, Joe’s finding “the one” rarely lasts, so I wouldn’t get too attached to any of these characters because you never know what is going to happen.

Official Synopsis: After his previous life went up in flames, Joe Goldberg has fled to Europe to escape his “messy” past, adopt a new identity, and, of course, to pursue true love. But Joe soon finds himself in the strange new role of reluctant detective as he discovers he may not be the only killer in London. Now, his future depends on identifying and stopping whoever’s targeting his new friend group of uber-wealthy socialites.

You Season 4 Part 1 premieres Feb. 9 on Netflix followed by Part 2 on March 9.
