MYRTLE BEACH, SOUTH CAROLINA: The 19 th Annual Myrtle Beach International Film Festival (MBIFF) has set this year’s Festival dates for April 23 rd to 27 th , 2024.

Jerry Dalton, Founder/Director of the Myrtle Beach International Film Festival is also the Founder and President of Dalton Pictures Motion Picture Studio.
Over 3 years in the building, the new 20,000 square foot Dalton Pictures Studio will come online in 2024. With 4 stages in Downtown Loris, South Carolina. Sets for a Restaurant, Bank, Office, Retail, Mechanics Garage, Small Warehouse, House, Apartment and more. The studio will offer buildout services with an on-site general contractor and workshop to provide all your filming and set needs.
Loris, South Carolina has a film commissioner that can fast track film permits and offer city support services including Fire and Police.

We have come across people here in Myrtle Beach and while in other parts of the country that have been to the festival and inevitably they say, do you remember that movie about… and they go on to tell us the whole movie over again and the sparkly in their eyes tells me that the movie they are describing has moved them not for a day or two, but years. This is something that you rarely hear about from blockbuster releases, they are a quick buzz then fall off hours after the watch.
