Between the recent cancellations of Daredevil: Born Again and Wonder Man, the future of Marvel’s live-action streaming series has been clouded.
While Marvel Animation has boomed in recent years with the release of X-Men ’97, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, and Marvel Zombies, the studio’s television strategy has been less clear.

After the disaster that was Secret Invasion, Marvel decided to overhaul its television strategy.
Going forward, the plan is to focus on shows fans can enjoy without needing to catch up on the broader MCU story.

Additionally, instead of creating shows that were essentially movies split up into numerous segments, Marvel vowed to tell stories that could be serialized and continue for multiple seasons.

Now, Marvel has finally laid out its future plans.
Here Comes ‘Zodiac’
Marvel Television took the stage at New York Comic Con today and finally shed light on its future plans.

The big news coming out of today’s event is that a new series titled Zodiac will hit Disney+ in 2028.
While no details were given about the project, the series logo seems to hint at a connection to S.H.I.E.L.D.
Three ‘Marvel Zombies’ Specials
Also unveiled at Comic-Con were Marvel’s plans for a trio of Marvel Zombies specials.

The first, which is tied to Sebastian Stan’s Winter Soldier, will stream next Halloween.
2028, on the other hand, will see the release of the Moon Knight-inspired The Fist of Khonshu.

Finally, in 2029, The Last Guardian will hit the small screen.
Other Projects
In addition to previewing upcoming content, Marvel also highlighted Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, which will debut on January 13, 2027, Daredevil: Born Again Season 3, and VisionQuest.
