Taking to Instagram to share some classic airport hell—her flight to Chicago was cancelled due to bad weather, meaning she missed a speaking engagement—she detailed her “disappointment.” Not for long though: she quickly sought solace in a “manicure pedicure by Luda and a haircut by the maestro himself, @johnbarrettnyc,” she wrote. “The new ’do is refreshing and lovely!”

The new ’do certainly is. Martha Stewart has long been in possession of excellent hair, but the new style has body, movement and shorter layers, which frame Stewart’s rather sculpted jawline. In fact, it’s a universally flattering style and would look just as good on a 25 year old as it does on Stewart, who is 81.
