Co-director Roger Ross Williams says even when you think you had heard it all, the iconic women could have kept talking: “I was worn out, and they’d want to keep going! They were so eager to tell their own stories for so long. They were eager to tell the stories from their perspective and not through the lens of the media.”
Episode two is a standout thanks to several revealing stories from Cindy Crawford, which we’ll talk more about next week. And episode four features a very vulnerable Linda Evangelista, who lets the cameras capture her at some of the lowest—and also most empowering—moments in her life. Williams and Bills give you a front row seat to the lives of these extraordinary women, and that’s where The Super Models really excels.
On that note, check out a lot more worthy offerings below. I’ll see you back here next week as ABC prepares to keep us firmly planted on the couch with the premieres of Dancing with the Stars, The Golden Bachelor, and Bachelor in Paradise.
