Another group of singles is testing to see whether love truly is blind.
During Netflix’s fan event on Saturday, the streamer released a first look at Season 5 of the hugely popular dating series Love Is Blind, which is set to premiere in September. Although the clip doesn’t reveal the city that Netflix chose for the upcoming installment, it does give a peek at one of the potential couples.
“I’ll just be honest with you, I have a track record of crappy relationships. I just haven’t found the right person,” the woman says, revealing that she’s actually been married previously. As it turns out, the man she’s speaking to has been engaged.

“My mom tells me maybe I’m not meant to be in a relationship,” she tells the camera in a confessional. “I’m definitely not a perfect person, but I know I deserve love.”

Love Is Blind follows a series of single men and women from one specific metropolitan area (most recently Seattle in Season 4) as they go on blind speed dates within adjoined rooms called “pods,” getting engaged without ever seeing one another face to face.
The dating show, hosted by Vanessa and Nick Lachey, was renewed through Season 5 back in March 2022. When Season 4 debuted, it was among the most streamed series in April on Netflix, just behind No. 1 The Night Agent.
An exact premiere date for Love Is Blind Season 5 has yet to be revealed.
