Lizzbians and nail lovers rejoice because Lizzo dropped some stunning new nail inspiration for her Instagram followers to bring to their next nail appointments. The nails in question, which she shared on April 12, were a black and seemingly textured twist on the classic French manicure.
The “About Damn Time” singer shared her new manicure in an Instagram post celebrating the one-year anniversary of her shapewear brand, Yitty. In the short video, Lizzo blew out a candle on a cake decorated with a picture of her face. Despite the video’s short length, we still got a decent look at her long stiletto manicure, which was filed and sculpted by nail artist Eri Ishizu.
As with any French manicure, Ishizu added a pale almost-white nude that covered the bottom half of each stiletto nail. On the other half, Ishizu painted a C-curve French tip in a pitch-black polish — a stark departure from the classic white tips and the trendy bright remixes of the manicure that have taken over social media. Ishizu added what look like tiny dots to each tip for a polka-dot pattern that matched her outfit, which was likely a set from Yitty. We’re pretty sure these dots were painted with white polish, but we will need a close-up look at this French manicure to confirm.

Though we’re celebrating her nails, we can’t ignore her pink and purple eye makeup. Hot pink and purple shadows were blended on her crease and outer corner. On half of her lid, a shimmery pink eye shadow was placed. The hot pink hue on her cheeks and the mauve on her lips complimented her bright eye shadow beautifully.
We’re sure Lizzo is over the moon celebrating her “Yittyversary” and enjoying her break before her Special tour starts again on April 21. Knowing the pop star, these nails will likely be gone when she steps on stage again, but hopefully, she posts a nailfie before then so we can truly admire every inch of these nails.
