Captain America: New World Order is turning into quite the star studded affair.
Not only will the movie be the first time that Sam Wilson takes the mantle of Captain America on the big screen, but we now know that one long lost Marvel character will also be returning.

Liv Tyler is making her return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, reprising her role as Betty Ross.
A Star-Studded Cast
Ross originally appeared in 2008’s Incredible Hulk, as a love interest to Bruce Banner, as well as the daughter of General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross.

Speaking of Thunderbolt Ross, that character is also expected to return in Captain America: New World Order. Harrison Ford will be assuming the role from the late William Hurt.
Other returning characters will be Carl Lumbly as Isiah Bradley, and Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres. Both actors are reprising their roles from Falcon and the Winter Solider.

Return of The Incredible Hulk
While the film was largely ignored following its release, the Incredible Hulk has been tied into the MCU more closely in recent years.
Although Mark Ruffalo has assumed the role of Bruce Banner from Edward Norton, the film’s supporting characters have begun to pop up in recent Marvel releases.

Tim Curry’s Abomination appeared in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, before formally being reintroduced in She-Hulk.
While Thunderbolt Ross has appeared across Marvel media, Captain America: New World Order will be the first time audiences have seen Liv Tyler as Betty Ross since her debut 15 years ago.

Captain America: New World Order will hit theaters May 3, 2024. The film will mark the fourth installment in the Captain America franchise.
