Sigourney Weaver and Kevin Kline are set to reunite after starring together in the 1997 film ‘The Ice Storm.‘ The pair will be gracing our screens soon in the drama ‘The Good House’ based on a New York Times bestselling novel of the same name by Anna Leary.
The ‘Avatar’ actress will be starring as Hildy Good, a satiric realtor in New England who has an unmatched love for wine and secrets. Her reality changes when an old high-school lover, Frank Getchell played by Kline, returns. Good is forced to confront herself after years of living in avoidance.

Weaver and Kline will be joined by Morena Baccarin, Kelly AuCoin, and Rob Delaney. The Good House made its appearance at two film festivals. First, it premiered at the 2021 Toronto Film Festival in September 2021. Ten months later it was seen at the Tribeca Film Festival that took place in June 2022, on the 18th.
The comedy-drama was directed by Maya Forbes and Wallace Wolodarsky. The duo wrote the upcoming film with the director and writer of Monte Carlo, Thomas Bechuza. The Good House is scheduled for release on the 30th of September 2022 in theaters.
