Lawrence Jones To Become Permanent Co-Host On ‘Fox & Friends’ – Deadline

Lawrence Jones is becoming a co-host of Fox News’s Fox & Friends, joining Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhardt and Brian Kilmeade on the couch on weekday mornings.

Jones will continue as enterprise reporter on the show. He was named to that position in 2021.

He joined Fox News in 2018. With the promotion, he also will be the youngest Black co-host in cable news. He will start as co-host on Monday.

The network said that Jones’s weekend show Lawrence Jones Cross Country will end and will be replaced by One Nation with Brian Kilmeade, which will now air in the 9 p.m. ET timeslot on Saturdays.

Jones came to prominence as a libertarian and conservative commentator, having hosted a show for TheBlaze Radio Network and having served as a contributing host for The Blaze TV. His show Lawrence Jones Cross Country was launched in January, 2022 and featured Jones traveling the country to talk to citizens about issues. He also interviewed presidential candidates Tim Scott, Vivek Ramaswamy, Chris Christie and Asa Hutchinson. He also has guest hosted in primetime, including a stint in the 8 p.m. ET slot after the exit of Tucker Carlson.

Gavin Hadden, senior vice president of morning programming for Fox News, said that Jones “has his finger on the pulse of what matters to communities across America and his insight has proved invaluable to the Fox & Friends audience.”
