This is the first time that the Bawaal and Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari co-stars appeared on the couch together. Arjun Kapoor also made an appearance as a special guest, leaving the duo surprised.
And now, we bring to you some more updates on this season! Speculations around Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan gracing season 9 were already rife. A little birdie now exclusively told News18 Showsha that Shah Rukh has already shot his episode with Karan Johar. “The episode was filmed more than a week ago at Yash Raj Films’ studio. Aryan Khan joined his superstar dad too,” the source said.
The source further added, “Shah Rukh’s last appearance on Koffee with Karan was in 2016 for the season 5 premiere episode, where he appeared alongside his Dear Zindagi co-star Alia Bhatt. He had largely kept himself away from the media glare and the spotlight, including Koffee With Karan. But Karan Johar managed to convince him this time around.”
We hear that the episode is set to be an emotional ride with Shah Rukh and Aryan, who makes his Koffee With Karan debut this year, sharing anecdotes on their highs and lows. As a close family friend, Karan nudged the father-son duo to let their guard down, offering audiences a glimpse into a side of them rarely seen before.
For the unversed, the first season of Koffee With Karan featured Shah Rukh as a guest along with Kajol. Over the years, he graced the couch six other times with Amitabh Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Gauri Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan is also all set to return to the Koffee With Karan couch with the upcoming ninth season. According to a source close to the show, the superstar will feature in the opening episode of Koffee With Karan 9, marking his return on the show after several years.
