Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson officially have a Leo on their hands. The exes officially welcomed their second child via surrogate, People reported on August 5. They also share daughter True Thompson, 4.
The child is a baby boy, though Kardashian hasn’t settled on a name quite yet.
Kardashian and Thompson broke up in January of this year after a tumultuous on-and-off relationship spanning nearly six years. Just before the final split, news broke that Thompson had fathered a son, Theo, with trainer Maralee Nichols, who was born in December 2021. He also shares five-year-old Prince with ex Jordan Craig.
The pair kept the news that they were expecting secret for several months, which was due partly to Kardashian’s desire to avoid public scrutiny following the dissolution of her and Thompson’s relationship.
“We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November,” a rep for Kardashian told People on July 13, three weeks before the baby was born. “Khloé is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We’d like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloé can focus on her family.”
“The baby was conceived via surrogate before it was revealed to Khloé and the public that Tristan was having a baby with someone else in December,” a source added at the time.
Hopefully we’ll be able to find out the baby boy’s name sooner rather than later—or maybe Khloé will take a page from younger sister Kylie Jenner’s book and withhold her baby’s name for six months (and counting).
