Katie Holmes, the queen of the classic white T-shirt and divisive Y2K trends, combined the two for her latest street-style moment.
While promoting her latest film, Rare Objects, the 44-year-old Glamour cover star was photographed in New York City wearing a pair of triple-toned denim with grommet and sequin embellishments. While the straight-leg jean is practically a modern staple, the low-slung cut and sparkling adornments are straight out of the aughts…which probably makes them all the more Gen Z–approved, TBH. I mean, just look at the rhinestone-encrusted jeans Taylor Swift wore for her first public appearance post–Joe Alwyn breakup. I’ve seen at least five TikTok DIY tutorials on how to make them in just four days.
Holmes paired her statement denim with a fitted white T-shirt, gray blazer, and metallic silver pumps, letting her brunette hair fall in loose waves. To really let the jeans do the talking, Holmes kept her makeup and jewelry minimal, opting for a pair of simple hoop earrings and a delicate stack of bracelets.
