Following the Ahsoka panel at the Star Wars Celebration in London, Kathleen Kennedy, the President of Lucasfilm, spoke with Variety about upcoming projects in the Star Wars franchise.

During an interview, Kathleen Kennedy expressed interest in featuring Daisy Ridley’s character Rey in an upcoming Star Wars film. The project announcement took place during a panel on April 7th.

During an interview, the question of a second season for the Obi-Wan Kenobi series arose. Fans have expressed interest in seeing Ewan McGregor’s Jedi character return for another adventure. Kennedy addressed the inquiry, but there are no official plans for a second season.
