Bhojpuri actress Kajal Raghwani has once again spoken about her reported relationship with Khesari Lal Yadav, this time during her stint on Rise and Fall Season 2. In the latest episode, Kajal discussed both the professional bond she shared with Khesari and the personal equation that eventually developed between them.
During a conversation with Manish Yadav, Kajal said Khesari had a significant influence on the way she approached work. She also addressed being in love with a married man and pushed back when Manish questioned her about it.
Kajal Raghwani Says She Learnt A Lot From Khesari Lal Yadav
Kajal began by speaking about the years she spent working alongside Khesari and the lessons she picked up from him on sets.
“I have loved working the most with Khesariji and have learnt a lot from him, including how to work hard. He also taught me that sometimes, if the shoot time extends, do it,” she said.
The conversation then shifted from their professional association to their reported romance.
When Manish asked Kajal how she ended up falling in love with a married man, she objected to the tone of the question and said her situation was not unique.
“I am not the only one who has fallen in love with a married man; a lot of women have. The situation was such that we worked together, became attracted to each other and fell in love,” Kajal said.
‘He Will Remember Me For A Lifetime’
Manish then asked whether Khesari had also loved her during their time together.
Kajal responded by pointing to the duration of their reported relationship.
“Would anyone stay around for five years just for timepass? He will never find anyone who loves him as much as I do. He will remember me for a lifetime. Even today, he must be missing me,” she said.
Her comments on Rise and Fall Season 2 are not the first time Kajal has spoken publicly about the relationship.
Kajal Had Earlier Spoken About Being ‘The Other Woman’
Kajal previously addressed the same phase of her personal life during an appearance on Bhojpuri Bawaal, where she said emotional circumstances in her own life played a role in how she became attached to Khesari.
“Due to my family issues, I craved a father figure. He started caring for me, so I felt he was the one. But there was a different story going on in front of me,” she had said.
Kajal also claimed that Khesari had spoken to her about problems within his family.
“He wasn’t getting along with his family. He didn’t love his wife, his kids loved his money, and no one loved him. He shared all this with me, and I got emotional and fell in love with him,” she said.
She also acknowledged that she was aware he was married at the time.
“I knew he was married, and I was the other woman,” Kajal had said.
