Austin Butler and Kaia Gerber have been linked since November 2021 and made their red-carpet debut as a couple at the 2022 Met Gala six months later. Despite partaking in a bit of PDA, the pair have remained quiet about their relationship to the press. When asked about their relationship during an August 2022 interview with GQ, Butler responded, “I don’t think there’s anything I want to share about that, but thank you for providing the space.”
Prior to his relationship with Gerber, Butler dated Vanessa Hudgens from 2011 to 2020. After a bit of reluctance, Butler even credited his ex with pushing him to pursue his destiny of portraying Elvis prior to being cast in his Oscar-nominated role. However, when the actor kept his Elvis accent long after filming, Hudgens appeared to find it just as hilarious as the rest of the internet.
Earlier this month, Hudgens confirmed her engagement to Major League Baseball player Cole Tucker. Meanwhile, Butler said he was working on “getting rid of the accent” after memes and speculation made him self-conscious.
