Apple Original Films & A24 have unveiled the first stills and teaser for their mysterious drama Sharper, directed by Emmy winner Benjamin Caron (Andor, The Crown). The starry title will premiere in select theaters February 10 before debuting globally on Apple TV+ on the 17th, the companies at the same time announced.
The feature written by Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka is said to unfold within the secrets of New York City, from the penthouses of Fifth Avenue to the shadowy corners of Queens. Motivations are suspect and expectations are turned upside down when nothing is as it seems.
Pic’s ensemble includes Academy Award winner Julianne Moore (When You Finish Saving the World), two-time Oscar nominee John Lithgow (The Old Man), Emmy nominee Sebastian Stan (Pam & Tommy), Justice Smith (Jurassic World Dominion), Darren Goldstein (Ozark) and up-and-comer Briana Middleton (The Tender Bar).
Sharper was produced by Jessica Switch and Erik Feig of Picturestart, as well as Moore, Bart Freundlich, Gatewood and Tanaka. Julia Hammer and Amy Herman served as executive producers.
