A24, hot off its supersized performance at the Oscars, has released the trailer for the first of three movies it will roll out this summer: the Nicole Holofcener comedy You Hurt My Feelings starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Tobias Menzies.
The film, which debuted at the year’s Sundance Film Festival, hits theaters nationwide May 26 over Memorial Day weekend.
In the pic written and directed by Holofcener, marking a reteam with Louis-Dreyfus from their 2013 film Enough Said, Louis-Dreyfus plays a novelist whose long-standing marriage is suddenly upended when she overhears her husband (Menzies) give his honest reaction to her latest book. It’s film about trust, lies and the things we say to the people we love most.
Arian Moayed, Michaela Watkins, David Cross, Amber Tamblyn and Owen Teague also star.

Up next for the indie studio is Ari Aster’s Beau Is Afraid (April 21) starring Joaquin Phoenix. After You Hurt My Feelings comes Celine Song’s Past Lives (June 2) and the Australian horror pic Talk to Me on July 28.
