‘The Continental’ Television series which is set to launch in 2023 has moved from Starz to Peacock.
In the Wick movies, the Continental Hotel is displayed as a safe hub, that is available worldwide for the members of the criminal underworld where they can meet and discuss their dealings with maximum privacy, keeping some rules in mind such as no spilling of blood on the Continental Grounds.
Set in 1975 New York, ‘The Continental‘ mini-series will be going into depth about the chain of hotels and the underworld through the eyes of a young Winston Scott portrayed by Colin Woodell (The Purge, The Originals). The said role is taken up by Ian McShane in the John Wick Trilogy.
The cast is made up of: Katie McGrath who’ll be taking up the role of The Adjudicator; Peter Greene who’ll be portraying a Young Uncle Charlie; Mel Gibson as Cormac; Ayomide Adegun, a Young Charon; and Jessica Allain as Lou.
Kirk Ward and Greg Coolidge serve as showrunners for the three-part series. Chad Stahelski, Derek Kolstad, and Marshall Persinger are part of the executive production team.
John Wick: Chapter 4 will be released in theatres on the 24th of March, 2023.
