If you already watched John Mulaney’s quartet of stand-up specials on Netflix, we highly recommend his weird, wonderful children’s musical comedy John Mulaney & The Sack Lunch Bunch. Premiering in 2019, this peculiar blend of catchy music, unconventional sketch comedy, and Richard Kind is an entertaining mix of adorable humor and existential dread. It’s kinda like if Mr. Rogers wrote for The Harvard Lampoon and got really into The Larry Sanders Show. If that makes sense to you, watch it! If it doesn’t, well, we still recommend The Sack Lunch Bunch but proceed with caution.
