Jeopardy! fans, if you haven’t been watching Jeopardy! Masters, finish reading this and then fire up Hulu immediately. You may or may not be aware, but we’re living in a golden age of Jeopardy superchamps — a.k.a. players who have won more than 10 consecutive games. The new primetime series, which takes advantage of that fact, is made up of 10 hour-long episodes and 20 games of Jeopardy! total with six of the greatest to ever do it, including 40-game winner Amy Schneider and James Holzhauer, who holds the top 12 slots on the single-game winnings leaderboard. Because of the format, these Masters get the opportunity to go head-to-head multiple times over the 10-episode run, resulting in some of the most exciting games of Jeopardy! ever played. — and how could they be anything but, when the participants are all essentially the LeBrons of the Jeopardy! world and the actual Greatest of All Time, Ken Jennings, is behind the hosting lectern. The seventh quarterfinal airs tonight, so you have the whole weekend to catch up before the semifinals on Monday and Tuesday, and the grand final on Wednesday.
