It’s a Wonderful Binge and 2 Other Trailers You Missed

Today’s trailer roundup includes Hulu’s It’s a Wonderful Binge, Apple TV+’s Puppy Place: Season 2, Showtime’s Boys In Blue.

It’s a Wonderful Binge debuts December 9 on Hulu. Several years after their first Binge, best friends Hags, Andrew, Sarah and Kimi face the realities of young adulthood as the annual Binge Day is moved to Christmas Eve. Hags plans a proposal to Sarah while Andrew deals with his troubled relationships with his family and his girlfriend.

Puppy Place: Season 2 streams Dec. 9 on Apple TV+. Charles (Riley Looc) and Lizzie (Brooklynn MacKinzie), whose different approaches complement, inspire and occasionally confound one another, do whatever it takes to find a happy, loving home for each and every dog. Discovering what makes each puppy special offers a unique perspective that helps the pair overcome their own individual hurdles.

Boys In Blue comes to Showtime January 6, 2023. All four episodes will be released on-demand and streaming and episodes will air on the Showtime channel each Friday at 8 p.m. ET.

The four-part docuseries spotlights North High School’s Polars football team, where mostly Black student-athletes are coached and mentored by members of the Minneapolis Police Department. The series follows the team as they navigate life after the tragic police killing of Floyd, a milestone event in American history that set off a national movement for social justice and police reform. Despite their differences, the officers and students find common ground on the field and kinship in the drive to win a state championship, establishing what they believe is a safe harbor from the violence and civil unrest of their community.
