What’s good, Trailblazers? After a smashing success knocking out the Preregistration numbers for maximum rewards, Honkai: Star Rail has cleared their second hurdle by way of their stream, updating new space travelers on content to come. One of which is what consoles we can expect to see the game brought on in months to follow.

What Consoles Will Honkai: Star Rail be Available on?
Right now, Honkai: Star Rail will be available to download at the Google Play Store for Android Users and the Apple Store for IOS Users. For PC, Honkai: Star Rail can be downloaded from their website once the game has officially been released on April 26. However, other such popular games that Hoyoverse has released have normally been available only on Mobile and PC like Honkai Impact 3rd and Tears of Themis.
Since Tears of Themis is an otome dating game and Honkai Impact 3rd mostly has configurations meant to be played on mobile, it makes sense that these are limited to such. Even on Steam and available on their site, Honkai Impact 3rd is still displayed with phone graphics but tailored to key bindings that will work on a computer.
That is why, Honkai: Star Rail will be resembling the configurations most commonly seen with Genshin Impact. Genshin is available on mobile, PC, and the PlayStation so it only stands to reason that Honkai: Star Rail will also be debuting in the PlayStation store at a later date. Already during their first live stream, Hoyoverse revealed gameplay footage of what their beta tests will most resemble the final product. We can see button configurations that are most in line with what Trailblazers may already be familiar with in Genshin Impact. This will allow console users to be able to gain access to the game just the same as they would have with Genshin Impact.
As of right now, we have no set date for when the game is going to be released on PlayStation and whether it will be released on the same day as the other devices Honkai: Star Rail will be available on. But with tests already underway, we can expect it to be soon so that PlayStation users can catch up on all the fun. And we will be on the case to get you the date it will be released as soon as it is available!
