According to Deadline, long-time voice actress Cree Summer has been tapped to play a live-action role in Marvel Studios’ highly-anticipated Disney+ series Ironheart. Her casting comes after multiple reports regarding Sacha Baron Cohen’s Mephisto role have surfaced online. The outlet’s sources note that he might be appearing in episodes five and six of the Dominique Thorne-led show.
Summer is no stranger to the superhero genre, as she previously had done voice work for both Marvel and DC animated shows including The Incredible Hulk, Batman Beyond, Spider-Man: The New Animated Series, Justice League Unlimited, The Spectacular Spider-Man, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Young Justice, Guardians of the Galaxy, DC Super Hero Girls, Big Hero 6: The Series, and more.
