Key Quote: “This film stems from my anxiety about summertime in Rome. It gets very, very hot, and I started to wonder, ‘What if we’re just going to be hot like this all the time? What if the world is just going to turn yellow, and it’s not going to be green anymore?’ Everyone was talking about it, so I was interested in making a film with different characters in the same situation. They’re all very different characters. There’s a mother who’s an alcoholic, and she’s lost her child, who’s living with the dad. There’s a porn star who was very big in the ‘80s and who’s addicted to plastic surgery. She has a stalker, a woman who is a crazy for God, and then there’s a young girl who’s bulimic. She works for an older lady, who’s addicted to TV shopping, and there’s a priest who’s an ex-heroin addict. So there’s something for everyone! They’re all crazy and lovable people.” – Ginevra Ellkann
