Though nothing can live up to Hocus Pocus as a cultural moment, Hocus Pocus 2 is still silly, spooky, and fun. Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy are back as the Sanderson sisters, and are clearly having a blast. After 29 years, they’ve still got a few spells—and dance moves—left in them. But perhaps the best part is a surprise appearance from Ted Lasso star Hannah Waddingham. Her five minutes of screentime as a sexy witch mommy are gone far too soon but nonetheless make it all worth it.
