There’s nothing like a good procedural drama, and High Potential really hits the mark. The ABC series follows the story of single mom, Morgan (Kaitlin Olson), who’s high intellectual potential makes her an asset to the police force. She goes from janitor to part-time detective overnight, and is paired up with rule stickler Detective Karadec (Daniel Sunjata), who is not having any of Morgan’s shenanigans. An unlikely duo, intense crime scenes, a little bit of humor, and potential romances—it’s everything a good procedural drama needs. The series has so many interesting characters and multi-episode storylines that have viewers on the edge of their seats. Although Season 3 of the series may not be released until 2027, that does not mean you can’t binge the first two seasons, streaming on Hulu.
