Prime Video has revealed its slate of original movies for Fall 2022.
New films include Samaritan, starring Sylvester Stallone. In the movie, a teenager (Javon “Wanna” Walton) suspects his reclusive neighbor (Stallone) is the legendary superhero Samaritan, who was reported dead in a deadly battle with his rival, Nemesis.
As far as other films, Argentina, 1985 is inspired by the true story of Luis Moreno Ocampo and Julio Strassera, who lead a legal team to prosecute Argentina’s powerful military dictatorship to bring justice to victims. Additionally, Run Sweetheart, Run shows a single mother (Ella Balinska) who finds herself the object of obsession by a monstrous and unstoppable assailant (Pilou Asbæk).
Nanny, which won this year’s Grand Jury Prize at Sundance, will also stream on Prime Video. Anna Diop plays an undocumented nanny in New York City who is visited by a violent entity as she prepares for the arrival of the son she left behind in West Africa.
