EXCLUSIVE: This February, HBO Max is celebrating Black History Month with a :30 sizzle reel which highlights the theme of “Celebrating Black Stories Today and Everyday”, where they place the spotlight on the creative community, who are unapologetically sharing their stories.
Scene in Black is partnering with Black owned companies and Black-led businesses to create a custom content series and IRL experiences that serve as a celebration of culture, the Black experience, community, and togetherness.
Scene In Black recognizes Black creators and audiences alike, while providing a place for viewers to see themselves reflected in HBO Max programming. They engage our audience all year round via social media profiles, experiential events and strategic partnerships that nurture our audience while strengthening our brand connection.
“We’re excited to be kicking off Black History Month with the theme of ‘Celebrating Black Stories Today and Everyday’,” said Jackie Gagne, Senior Vice President, Multicultural Marketing, Warner Bros. Discovery. “As the theme implies, this year – and all year round – HBO Max is committed to curating a space to amplify and celebrate Black talent in front of and behind the camera, while creating a path for the next generation of creators to share their stories.”
